What level should you be before starting the DLC's? Over 30, and in TVHM would be my answer. After the expectations set by the first Borderlands, the downloadable content for Borderlands 2 had big shoes to fill. Hammerlock's I generally leave until UVHM, and Scarlett's until close to the end of TVHM, depending on character. Personally, I start the Tiny Tina and Torgue DLC's when I get to Sanctuary in TVHM. You do not have to complete one before starting another. They each have their own stories and are not connected. Start UVHM at something like 55, your gear will be 50 at best while your enemies will all be 54-56, while bosses like Flynt will be 57. They are a lot tougher to deal with, have more hp, health regen, have shields and trying to take them on with under-level gear is a Very Bad Idea. UVHM starts at 50, or your level if you are over that. *** It is important that you do not start UVHM at much over 50. You will not be able to complete all of them without becoming very over-level for the start of the 3rd playthrough, UVHM. The longer you stay in normal after 30, the more under-level your gear becomes. Quite true that Scarlett's and Torgue's start at level 15, but the Torgue DLC has some odd scaling issues in normal, where you will find certain enemies at level 50.Īdditionally, once you complete the 1st playthrough by defeating the Warrior, most gear is capped at 30 for the playthrough. Two of them - Tiny Tina's and Hammerlock's have spoilers to the main story and start at level 30 in normal mode. You can of course start them in the 1st playthrough, but there are level and other issues. Said snowflake is not particularly correct All of the DLC's are Additional Content, and basically meant to be done after the main story has been completed - ie in the 2nd playthrough, TVHM. Since you posit that OP never specified a correct answer, are you saying they might have wanted an incorrect one? Either way between you and I, OP is taken care of. You attacked me with, "who asked you?" or somesuch. So could i please ask you that we don't argue or discuss this any further I'm already having enough on my plate in life as it is. Instead of trying to prove that you are right Couldn't you just made a seperate comment saying your opinion? So we both could've avoided this mess of unnecessary discussion?Īnd OP never said they wanted a correct answer they only asked which level would X BL2 player recommend for them to start the DLC with And you just provided a boring accurate answer that was correct yes but also came out as souless (at least in my mind) While you then proceded to attack me for not responding in a way you found to be right Sometimes a thorough respond is not needed And what i merely did was answer OP's question Better to copy paste good info than to talk out of one's butt on the basis of how much experience exactly? I suspect we will never know. As far as whether or no I looked up the facts on my answer before posting, it's irrelevant, The information I gave is correct and therefore useful to the questioner. I merely gave the OP a more thorough and correct, factual account of how the DLC work so that OP could make a better decision for themself when to start which DLC. Where in my original post did I tell the OP what level to start any DLC? You did that, while later insisting that when to start was entirely up to the OP. No how about you stop being an ass first?
